Returns & Refunds
This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to original artworks and fine art prints purchased directly through this website.
Returns may be requested within 14 calendar days of delivery, subject to the terms below and any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.
1. Requesting a Return
To request a return, please contact us at contact@irinamyassoyedova.com within 14 calendar days of receiving your order.
Please include your order details and the reason for contacting us. You do not need to provide a reason where applicable law gives you an unconditional right of withdrawal.
Return instructions and the applicable return address will be provided by email. Where applicable law provides a statutory right of withdrawal, requesting return instructions does not limit or make that right conditional upon our approval.
After notifying us of a return, the item must be sent back without undue delay and within any period required by applicable law.
2. Change-of-Mind Returns
For change-of-mind returns, the buyer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the artwork or fine art print, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Returns must be sent using a tracked and appropriately insured shipping service and packaged securely to protect the artwork during transit.
For artworks or other items that cannot normally be returned by regular post, the cost of international return shipping may be substantial. Where required by applicable law, an estimate of the direct return cost will be provided or otherwise made available before the order is placed.
3. Condition of Returned Items
The artwork or fine art print must be returned in the condition in which it was received and, where reasonably possible, in its original protective packaging, together with its Certificate of Authenticity and any other accompanying documentation.
The buyer is responsible for taking reasonable care of the item while it is in their possession.
Where permitted by applicable law, the buyer may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and condition of the item.
Nothing in this section affects rights relating to items that arrive damaged, defective or not as described.
4. Order Cancellations Before Dispatch
If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@irinamyassoyedova.com.
Where applicable law gives you a mandatory right to cancel or withdraw from the purchase, your cancellation and refund will be handled in accordance with that law.
In other cases, cancellation before dispatch may be accepted at our discretion. Where shipping, insurance, customs clearance, export documentation, courier services, special packaging or other third-party services relating specifically to the order have already been booked, purchased or initiated, actual non-refundable costs already incurred may be deducted from any discretionary refund, but only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Once an order has been dispatched, any cancellation or return will be handled in accordance with this Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable law.
5. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Orders
If an order arrives damaged, defective, or is not the item ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at contact@irinamyassoyedova.com.
Please provide the order details and, where possible, clear photographs of the artwork or print, its packaging and the shipping label. Please retain all original packaging while the matter is being reviewed.
Where the item is confirmed to be damaged, defective or incorrect, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law. Where return shipping is required because of such an issue, reasonable return shipping costs will be covered where required by applicable law.
Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights or remedies available for damaged, defective, faulty or misdescribed goods.
6. Return Transit and Packaging
Returned items must be packaged securely and in accordance with the return instructions provided.
Where permitted by applicable law, any loss or reduction in value resulting from inadequate return packaging, improper handling or handling beyond what is reasonably necessary may be taken into account when determining the amount of any refund.
Where an item is damaged during return transit despite the agreed return procedure being properly followed, the matter may be reviewed with the relevant carrier or insurance provider.
7. Refunds
Refunds will be made to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed or required by applicable law.
Any refund due will be processed without undue delay and within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Where permitted by applicable law, we may withhold reimbursement until the returned item has been received or until the buyer provides evidence that the item has been sent back, whichever occurs first.
Where applicable law requires reimbursement of the original standard delivery cost, that amount will be refunded. Additional costs resulting from the buyer choosing a delivery method more expensive than the least expensive standard delivery option offered are not refundable except where required by applicable law.
8. Customs Duties, Import Taxes and Third-Party Charges
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees or other charges imposed by the destination country or third parties.
Unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by applicable law, such charges are the responsibility of the recipient.
Amounts paid directly to customs authorities, carriers, payment providers or other third parties are not refundable by us where those amounts were not received by us, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
The buyer is responsible for following any applicable customs procedures when returning an international order.
9. Mandatory Consumer Rights
This policy is intended to apply to international sales.
Consumer protection laws vary by country and jurisdiction. Nothing in this Returns & Refunds Policy excludes, restricts or limits any mandatory consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or limited.
Where mandatory consumer law applicable to a particular purchase provides the buyer with greater rights than those stated in this policy, those mandatory rights will apply.
